About me

Hello, my name is Yonah. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I was immersed in fine arts from a young age, inspired by my mother - an art teacher. Despite Hong Kong's emphasis on logical subjects, my passion for art remained unwavering. Seeking a more creative education, I attended high school in Auckland, where a Media Studies class introduced me to RuPaul's Drag Race, sparking my interest in makeup as an artistic medium. I further developed my painting skills at RMIT University in Melbourne, earning a Fine Arts degree, before moving to the UK to pursue a career in the arts. However, drawn to a different creative path, I continued my studies at Brushstroke Makeup School, aspiring to become a professional makeup artist.
