Curseye is a UK based expressionist artist with a passion for illustrations, painting and avant garde makeup. Her works illustrate her life experiences of mental health issues, queer identities and cultural upbringings.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Curseye was immersed to fine arts at a very young age, thanks to her art teacher mother. Despite Hong Kong's focus on logical subjects, her passion for art never wavered. In pursuit for better creative studies, she attended high school in Auckland, where a Media Studies class introduced her to 'RuPaul's Drag Race' - inspiring Curseye to use makeup as a form of queer expression. She later honed her skills at RMIT University in Melbourne, earning a Fine Arts degree. Then moved to the UK after graduation in pursue of a career in art.
